Last updated: 8 October 2026

Punkt Digital Marketing Agency Pty Ltd (ACN 690 702 428), trading as Punkt Digital ("Punkt Digital", "we", "us" or "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. What personal information we collect

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business. This may include:

  • your name, business name, job title, email address and phone number;

  • details you share about your business, website and marketing goals when you enquire or book a discovery call;

  • billing and payment details needed to issue invoices and receive payment;

  • membership details if you claim a member offer (for example, proof of membership of a partner organisation);

  • information you provide when registering for our events or training; and

  • technical information about your visit to our website, such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed and referring site.

2. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you fill in a form on our website, email or call us, book a discovery call, attend an event or training session, engage our services, or interact with us on social media (such as LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook). We may also collect information from publicly available sources or from people who refer you to us.

Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and collect anonymous analytics about how visitors use it. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work as intended.

3. Why we use it

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and organise discovery calls;

  • prepare proposals, contracts and invoices, and deliver our SEO, AI visibility, paid advertising, website and training services;

  • manage our relationship with you, including billing and support;

  • verify eligibility for member offers and discounts;

  • send you updates, insights or event information where you have agreed to receive them (you can unsubscribe at any time);

  • understand and improve our website and services; and

  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Client data and account access

To deliver our services, clients may give us access to accounts such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, social media or website platforms. We access these accounts only as needed to perform the agreed work, keep access details confidential, and ask that access be removed when an engagement ends. Any personal information about your own customers that we can see in those accounts is handled only on your behalf and is not used for any other purpose.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it with:

  • trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, cloud storage, scheduling, accounting, payment and advertising platforms;

  • contractors or partners working with us on your project, who are required to keep your information confidential;

  • partner organisations, only to confirm your eligibility for a member offer; and

  • government bodies or others where required or authorised by law.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of the service providers we use (for example Squarespace and Google) may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle your information consistently with the APPs.

7. How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes using reputable, secure software providers, password protection and multi-factor authentication where available. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then securely delete or de-identify it.

8. Access and correction

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. If we are unable to give you access, we will explain why.

9. Third-party links

Our website may link to other websites and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

10. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
